Language is complex, and literature, being its highest form, is infinitely more so. The nuances of literature are vast, and can sometimes evade the scrutiny of even the most trained reader; a cardinal sin for a translator to commit.
Love and Fidelity
The process of translating, as of that of writing, combines at least two opposing inclinations: the idea of identification through “self-translation” by means of a careful use of one’s own highly personal language and, acting as counterweight to the sincerity of one’s translation, what has also become the leitmotif of studies on translation, that of “translator/traitor”: to remain faithful to the meaning, the Word must be betrayed.

Our Aim
Our aim is to preserve not only the essence of the literature, but also its complex intricacies, its intended ambiguity and its unique spirit. This involves striking a very delicate balance between preserving the rich beauty of the writing, and conveying the intended message the way the author meant to convey it. Nothing undermines the artistic value of a piece of literature like a poor translation, which can forever ruin the piece for that particular linguistic demographic. To ensure that we deliver honest, carefully curated translation that preserves the authenticity of the work
